In August of 2009, John Flink, Jennifer Huguet Flink, Karen Williams, Barb McGraw, David Dobrowski, Cheryl Lidberg and Sean Rawson opened Modory home furnishings.

 

Barb, Karen, David and Sean had previously worked with Williams and Wegner Fine Furniture and loved the traditional lines such as Hancock and Moore and Hickory Chair.  Jennifer and John loved the idea of introducing more contemporary lines to the Missoula area such as Nathan Anthony, Pepper Berry and 7th and Seventh Design.

Regardless of the style we focused our efforts on finding great American success stories, families that carry on the tradition of making high quality, high style pieces that offer unparalleled value.  We are on the opposite end of the spectrum from imports that offer very little selection, very low quality and who knows what toxins in the manufacturing process and don’t even ask about human rights.
